Real gaming beast and beauty @65k
I got the Ryzen 7 4800 version with 512GB of SSD at just 65k with a bank discount at the Great Indian festival. It has so much premium-looking built quality with a metal lid and back glowing RGB ROG logo but the trackpad is Lil bit wobbly as the whole below portion is made with solid plastic. The keypad is also fully RGB. Also, the RGB LED strip below enhances its beauty more. It can handle any mid-range game pretty well and 4k video editing too without any lag or frame drop. The display is also very sharp and crystal clear. The back RGB logo looks quite awesome in the dark. I will have to experience more later in the future but in reality, it is a beast and no other brand can provide such a gaming laptop at this price. Also have got 2 years extra warranty at just 199. Thanks to Amazon, ASUS, and the seller for this great deal and laptop. Just go if you are thinking to buy this.

Exceptional beast but tuf series gives you better
As I said it’s an exceptional beast…
You’re getting ryzen 7 4800
490 GB SSD
144hz refresh rate and yeah it gives you the premium and smooth feel af.
The back is lit and it has a backlit logo, RGB customizable keyboard …. 8GB of ram, hmm I’d expect more for the price line but come it’s expandable up to 32GB so that isn’t a big issue
Except we’re getting rtx1650 GPU… At 70k we can at least we can expect 2000 series or at least 1650 ti ….. But don’t worry this laptop will be beyond your expectations.
Go for it if it’s your gut feel and you won’t be disappointed
But check tuf series once …. With the similar price range you get a better one there …. Still I’m satisfied with this.

Great Value for Money
Best Desktop Replacement at this price range. This model has subtle features which give it an edge over other laptops in a similar price range:
- 17-inch FHD screen
Though most screens would be FHD, but hard to find 17-inch screens at around 70k (got it at discount)
- USB Type-C port with DP and charge
Most laptops have a USB-C port but not with the display. This has both with Display and Charging and the port supports 10Gbps speed
- Ryzen 4800H. 8 cores, 16 threads. Great for me and for anyone who has a lot of tasks running with a GTX 1650 is good enough. Not for serious gaming, but you shouldn’t do serious gaming on laptops anyway. Good for doing small data experiments.
I really don’t care about the rest of the frills like backlit keyboard and such. It has two SSD slots and one of them is occupied by a budget Intel SSD. You can (and should) upgrade to a better SSD and should note a great increase in performance. I do bemoan the lack of a SATA disk slot for extra data storage but there are enough USB 3 ports to compensate for that.
The screen broke down before even a month but the warranty experience was fine and it was replaced. I was circumspect as there have been supplying issues worldwide but within a week it was fixed so I’m happy. I have another older laptop from Asus and it’s running great still after 3 years so this one’s screen was probably just bad luck. I would greatly recommend this model overall.

Super laptop from ASUS.
Really happy with the purchase. Have replaced my old Lenovo laptop at a good price. The laptop is super fast has space for extra ram and extra SSD storage. Have upgraded with 1TB WD SSD +16 GB ram (data).
The processing is so fast that you will do the task in the blink of an eye.
Upgraded my laptop to window 11 but there are bugs that might be sorted out with future updates. Big screen but you don’t get the webcam because of thin bezels. You have to buy one for meetings.
All in all great purchase. Thank you, Amazon for your quick and safe delivery.
Must buy for gamers as well as the students pursuing b.tec use with any specialization course.
Hope my review helps everyone.
Cheers

ROG Strix G17,17.3 FHD 60/144Hz,Ryz7 4800H,GTX1650,8GB/512GB/Win10(11)
Everyday use so far has been a good experience BUT keep certain expectations to a min.
Cons- No onboard camera
No HDD due to thin and design layout
No replacing or upgrading Wi-Fi card,
it’s Mediatek soldered to the mainboard
Using silicone kb protector reduces airflow
Only 1 type-c (which supports power bank charging) but IF when electric out and need to transfer from phone or USB-C drive then you need a dongle
Around 5hrs battery

❌DONT PAY SUCH A HUGE AMOUNT JUST FOR BLING BLING LEDs❌
Okay, TO BE HONEST…
I was so much excited to get this laptop
BUT what I received is this-
Memory- 2/10 ❌
Processing- 5/10❌
Build Quality- 10/10✔✔✔
Bling Bling-100/10✔✔✔✔✔✔
Screen clarity- 5/10✔
Sound- My neighbor’s television sound doesn’t let me listen to a single song on this laptop.
(Speakers of this laptop are inspired by Apple iPhone 3 if u know what I mean.)
Speakers- 1/10.❌❌❌❌❌
Overall- Don’t waste your money here bro!!! The market is full of better value-for-money laptops.🆘️🆘️🆘️🆘️🆘️

No Webcam, low sound, and very hard to read keyboard
What is good:
1) Screen quality and size
2) Overall build quality & finishing
3) Battery
4) Slim, not bulky
What is not good:
1) No Webcam – a show stopper for me especially in these COVID days where you cannot do without WFH/Online Classes.
2) Low Audio volume – audio is so low, that you will have to attach earphones/headphones to hear most of the YouTube videos.
3) Text is hardly visible on the keyboard – You will find yourself searching for keys, especially the special keys, symbols, function keys, etc. It’s a pain.
4) Screen going blank on fluctuations – the screen goes off for a second, showing a big battery icon in the middle of the screen whenever there is a fluctuation. This way your flow is disrupted which is too annoying.

Worst & defective mostly!
Received the product & checked the same day & got an issue with sound output, which is too low, not acceptable from such a premium & gaming product, of course! It’s defective. USB port too not proper. Very deeply hurt about buying a gaming laptop from amazon & even though raised a complaint on the same day they gave 3 days after scheduling a technician visit, which they didn’t do. Neither they r accepting the return for which I am complaining to grievance & then police station & then consumer court, to get my exchanged laptop back.
Don’t fall into this seller APPARIO trap to buy. Their response is worst & sell defective & response is very-very-very bad.

Speakers are worst
Speakers are absolutely ridiculous…
For Gaming Machines, Sound has to be more. Every time we cannot put on Headphones.
Here sound from the laptop is very-very poor.
My Return window is over yesterday else would had returned.
Also no webcam.
Asus a stupid decision.

Does money grow on trees for you?
This laptop is grossly overpriced for the performance and features it offers. The games are slow to the point you have to reduce your settings, to medium at least, all the time. I am sad that I bought it. This was an offline purchase, but haunts me the same way though!! I got upgraded to 16 GB RAM for my work, but it’s still useless in Games…no perceivable benefit!
The screen needs calibration. Mildly satisfied with it
The speakers are good. Put it on any table. The audio is crystal clear.
Boots up in like 5 seconds.
The Wi-Fi card is a BIG BIG-BIG problem.
It disconnects on its own.
Doesn’t reconnect after waking up from sleep.
Heard it’s a very common issue with ROG laptops these days…all having these Wi-Fi 6 Mediatek Wi-Fi cards.
The RGB lighting is customizable to some extent. A pleasant equilibrium is not difficult to reach.
Does get slightly warm while gaming…even though the graphic card is almost completely useless for gaming.
Overall verdict/question: Does money grow on trees for you? If Yes, you are not reading this. If NO, then you now know whether to buy it or not. The reason is the graphic card for the price!
