Perfect product!
it’s a superb buy… Go pro 8 is too good… videos are so lively and vivid. GoPro 8 has hyper smooth 2.0 which gives you real steady videos while driving walking, running, etc..so it’s worth buy at this price range. you need to buy a 3-way shorty to use it properly mainly for holding …overall satisfied with the purchase.

MIXED FEELINGS!
Not good for Indoor Videos.
Your phone might do a better job in the case of Indoor videos than this camera. Noise in indoor videos is way too much.
An Rs.10,000 phone can capture better videos in medium to low light conditions.However, I believe it’s good for outdoor usage.
The best part of this camera is:
1. Infinity focus – Unlike a DSLR or Your phone, this camera has everything in focus. So no focus issues whatsoever.2. No recording limit – In the case of DSLR or Mirrorless, there is generally a video limit of 30 mins. It means that at one time, your camera can record a maximum video of 30 mins only. After 30 mins, your camera will stop automatically. You then need to manually start a new video after that. This is not a good thing if you want to record events, seminars, or lectures.
However, since Gopro is a video camera, there is no such 30 mins limit on these. You can record for as long as you want (subject to battery, memory, and camera temperature limitations!).FINAL VERDICT…
IF YOU MAINLY WANT TO CAPTURE SOME OUTDOOR SHOTS THEN IT’S GOOD FOR THAT. GO FOR IT.But if you want to capture indoor videos, then consider some other video cameras such as Sony Handycam. No Handycam will have 30 mins recording limit. So relax! This would limit is only in the case of DSLR or Mirrorless :/

Worth every penny
Killer product, amazing pricing by Flipkart, and ridiculously fast delivery on the same day itself! I mean, I ordered before noon on a Saturday, and Flipkart delivered by 6 pm on the same day itself!
As for the product, there are tonnes of reviews on YouTube and other websites, and I don’t have anything else to add. However, here are a few points that may come in handy for power users going for longer trips.
1. Carry a power bank and extra batteries. I was able to pick up a GoPro 7 Black battery and I get the same output as the battery that comes with the 8. The battery lasts about an hour and its use can be extended by plugging in the power bank while still in use. That’s an amazing feature, that you can take extended time-lapses and videos by plugging in the power bank while the camera is recording. However, since there isn’t a separate charger, you will have to use the GoPro itself to charge the other battery later which means that your GoPro is almost always connected to a power source.
2. Buy a class 10 micro sd card preferably of 128GB or 256 GB. It really depends on your usage, however since the 8 can record 4k or 1080 with 240 fps, these files can be really huge. A 64 GB card will not get you through a day, while a 128GB card will in most cases.
3. You will most definitely need extra mounts. I went for the original GoPro merchandise and it’s good but expensive. The 3M adhesive mounts are amazing and will not fall off anything that you set up your GoPro on. I have set it up in my car windshield as well as on my biking helmet and these mounts are robust.
4. GoPro Membership/Subscription. It’s super useful to keep your data on the cloud without losing out on any resolution settings. It costs about INR 350 a month and as soon as you plug in your GoPro for charging, it connects to the wifi and transfers every file on the cloud. You can then format your card and continue shooting the next day. Saves a lot of memory, if you are on the go. However, you need to set up the wifi connection once for this to work seamlessly. Also, most internet providers in India will charge you for both upload and download, so make sure your monthly internet package has enough data limit. In 2 days’ use, my GoPro had uploaded upwards of 120GB of data.
5. The GoPro 8 can be a great asset for video making as its stabilization is extraordinary. I have learned Da Vinci Resolve, a free video editing tool for HD videos, and as you can slow down the GoPro footage, I realize the quality of each frame and its tremendous colors and overall class. It’s surreal how everything is packed in such a small package. And also, this can take a few knocks and falls, it’s waterproof till 10m and is generally resistant to rough use.
Use it. It won’t disappoint.

Terrific
Nothing more to write than is already written. Quality product. One of the best out there. Great price at the time of purchase but now available at an even better price. But of a learning curve for first-time users like me. Also, be ready to shell out some more bucks for much-needed accessories and extra batteries.

Slightly disappointed
TRAGIC BATTERY LIFE. No one warned me before buying that its battery lasts only for an hour and takes 2-4 hrs to charge. What a damn!
Also, this doesn’t come with a charger, just a type C Cable. Though you can use old Samsung less than 2A chargers since GoPro says to use max 2 A chargers since its battery is only 1220 mah and ideal charging is 1.5A only. And Official GoPro charger costs around 4K and doesn’t come inbox. A spare battery costs min Rs.1800. So overall they are looting us.
