Best in a class laptop for everyday use
Bought this for content consumption, a bit of photo editing, some programming and occasional video format conversion, video clipping, and merging.
Pros:
Huge color gamut and very deep black points in the OLED display.
The lowest brightness settings are low enough to work in the dark. I am very happy with this as my previous Macbook Pro and Acer laptops did not go low enough for night use.
Battery backup is fantastic. I use it as a phone. Charge it once in the morning and then use on battery multiple times throughout the day. Simply close the lid when done, reopen when needed.
Good quality finish and sturdy. The audio quality is good, loud, and has some bass. The thick plastic build is much more resilient to hits than the thin aluminum chassis which dent easily when hit, damaging internal parts.
Office 2019 installs without hassle. Prompt for win 11 comes automatically on the first setup.
Superfast response opening browsers and office apps due to the NVME SSD and i3 11th gen processor having 3 GHz base speed.
Can be opened and repaired easily. Comes with a 3 pin charger so no surface current on the laptop. 2 pin charger laptops have a mild current shock on the body.
Cons:
The keyboard is silver colored and has reflective paint on my model. Letters are white. Can hardly read the keys in daylight or under room lighting. Very bad design and -1 star for just this. Other colors may suffer less. Luckily I don’t need to look at the keyboard to find keys too much since using the computer from 2004.
Against other brands that I used:
MacBook Pro (late 2011 version) – Hardware and battery were quite good on the mac but many programs don’t run well on osx. Also after 5 to 6 years no os update while windows machines get updated more than 10 yrs. Very overpriced for what it does. And battery advantage is also gone now as other companies have also caught up.
Acer Aspire 5755G: very bad display. The keyboard goes bad almost every year. Sturdy and easily repairable. It will last a decade. Not sure about the life of the Asus yet.
Lenovo Thinkpad: Used for office work. Every Lenovo I used (3) soon developed dead pixels on the screen.
HP: Office laptop. Very bad internal battery swells up.
Asus Zenbook: Too slim and light. The screen got smashed as a result of being hit from outside. Otherwise good laptop and got good customer support replaced the screen for about 10k. Now I avoid ultra-slim laptops.
Overall very good laptop with a gorgeous OLED display at a reasonable price.

Muse pad is ultra-smooth and fast.👍
One year inbuilt MacAfee antivirus.👍

Perfect Buy
It’s a very good laptop for normal users, students. Best screen quality. The viewing experience is great due to the AMOLED screen. The keyboard light is not helpful because of the grey color on the keys. At night if the keyboard light is on still hard to see because the key color is in grey and the backlight is white so you can imagine the mess.
Built quality is good, it seems good plastic, not like cheap ones. No noisy motor. They should have given more space to it.
MS Office is pre-installed, that’s a relief. Due to SSD, it boots up in no time. I am glad I chose to buy during the offer.

Great value for money.
Great Display.1.8 kg for a 15-inch laptop ok. Looks really premium. Around 4-5 hours battery backup for office use(MS-Word/excel) with internet connected.3-3.30 hours battery backup if you watch movies with 300nits brightness.3 levels of backlight provided, you can work in night comfortably.2.5 inch HDD/SSD upgrade kit provided. I personally upgrade it via a 480 GB SATA SSD.
