Genuine Dell mouse
It’s an excellent mouse in this price range. Original genuine product with the warranty card and online verify card. The packaging is excellent with a lot of tamper-evident seals so you can assure that the product you received is authentic and unused.
Some of the pros include,
~Black matte finish body with no annoying paint brand logo on top and button so no reflections nor paint washout on usage.
~Cable length and mouse size in medium-range so suitable for most and can be used for both desktop and laptop.
~Under the mouse, the stand feet are curved continuously one made from the same plastic and thus less chance to accumulate dirt.
~cursor moves very fast and accurately, no false moves.
Some of the cons include these
~Scroll wheel is not frictionless instead step-based so some sound and resistance there when scrolling.
~Click sound there but a pleasant one similar to keyboard key press sound.
But these cons will not be a problem for many considering its performance and accuracy.
Reducing 1 star due to step-based scroll wheel which is a bit hard to use especially when scrolling to the top.
Overall an excellent general-purpose mouse!

Super comfortable and long-lasting mouse
Bought this mouse after long research so writing here my review after 2 years of usage.
For those complaining about long keys and uncomfortable usage, let me tell you this is a complete mouse and not mice so you need to understand the difference. This is much more comfortable than mice if you work for long hours.
Now coming to delivery. Amazon did a great job in delivering superfast also deal on this mouse was an add-on.
Now coming to quality. This is the heavy-duty built mouse for a longer run. Working like charm even after 2 years of usage. I have tried several different brands like Logitech, HP, etc but no one stands near to this.
Some others are complaining about the very thin wire. Kindly note there are several sellers on Amazon so buy only from trusted sellers with higher ratings.

Dell MS116 1000DPI USB Wired Optical Mouse – I could sniff the quality
As a kid, I remember when my US-based relations used to bring me gifts from USA; these gifts had a aroma to them – a kind of strong sterile aroma. When I opened the Dell Mouse package, I got the same aroma and of course, the mouse worked amazingly well – unlike the new Genius mouse that barely worked for two weeks before the scroll wheel failed.
This Dell Mouse has a USB cable and is a plug-and-play device. Its speed, scroll speed, etc can all be controlled from the Windows Control Panel. It is Ergonomic, smooth, and easy to use.
I’m using the product in an office environment. As for gaming, I think this might not be a suitable device because the right and left click buttons are a bit ‘heavy’ i.e. requires a bit extra pressure for the click. So, it is excellent for office and regular work but not for gaming.

Great brands, great service
A simple basic wired optical mouse. Specifically brought a Dell-branded product for my Dell desktop. Stopped working within 1 1/2 months. The return window had closed on Amazon, however, I called up their customer service and explained the problem. They immediately shared the Dell support hotline with me. On calling Dell, the support person asked me to perform some simple checks, take a few photos and email it to them. Within a few hours, they confirmed they would send a free replacement. And in less than 2 days thereafter, the replacement mouse arrived just as promised. For a mouse that costs less than Rs.300, this was truly a delightful service. No wonder Dell is legendary for its support. Great brands are built on the foundation of great service.

Best for the budget!
I got this mouse as an accessory for my Dell laptop that I bought recently. The one thing I noticed immediately after connecting it to the PC is that the cursor movements are extremely precise (thanks to it being a 1000dpi mouse). Also, the entire mouse is made of plastic but feels very sturdy and durable. It fits my hands perfectly and is ideal for continuous usage for long hours at a time. The length of the wire is 1.7metres, which is long enough in my opinion. The USB connector is also very durable; it fits nice and snug in the USB port. The scroll wheel, though not frictionless, is smooth enough.
The only con I noticed is that the scroll wheel has an outer layer of rubber, which may degrade after a few years of heavy usage, but this shouldn’t really be a problem since it’s just an outer coating.
I opted for a wired mouse instead of a wireless one because I don’t want to bother with batteries or wireless signal issues (since a wireless mouse works on a 2.4GHz P2P connection). This is going to be an ideal fit for my laptop.

Second purchase I have done … Last only 6 months
This is my second purchase of this mouse. The average life of this mouse is 6 to 8 months after which the left click starts to be recognized as a right-click or the mouse scroll speed and the web portal scroll lags by a huge margin giving the sub-optimal performance of the web page being worked upon. The first 6 months will be awesome but after that, it is a pain.

NOT SUCH A Great Performance . . . AFTERALL !!
Bought the mouse over a year ago . . . Initially thought it to have a Great Performance and Great Value for Money; with a Good ergonomic design . . . Easy hold . . . Adequate long wire . . . Trouble-free operations and Smooth movement !!
However; after using the mouse for just over a year; it has now developed functional problems with the left button rendering it troublesome to use, and the warranty period is already over.
Turned out to be not such a great performance after all . . . Expected better quality from Dell at this price. Disappointed . . .

Shaky mouse wheel
The mouse is good to hold. But the mouse wheel is so loose and shaking too much sideways which irritates while using it to scroll. If you are a frequent user of the mouse wheel, you must avoid this product.
Not sure how Dell has designed such a product. I was using an HP mouse earlier and its wheel used to be so smooth to use and scroll on pages.

Not working properly
Since day1 the middle roll is not good, sometimes stuck and very hard have to roll, very tiring. After 3 days of use, it started to not move the cursor properly. Now it’s totally useless, and as I didn’t expect it won’t be good (I thought it’s Dell, must be good quality) I threw out the box and everything. Now I cannot get a refund or replacement. Have to purchase a new one – definitely something else.

Average backup mice!
You get only what you pay for. This mouse is made of cheap plastic. I should have checked the weight. It’s the lesser weight that you can feel its inferior quality. No complaints about the functionality. But the overall smoothness and clicks feel very inferior. That’s what you get for the price they charge. Overall I regret buying this but will keep it as a backup if something goes wrong.
