-Dear Google, first of all understand the fact that your snapseed is a success because it is good in tuning an image in a fraction of a second. Professional photographers use this for this advantage of snapseed. Now you have brought filters to the front row and messed up the arrangement of the tuning tools area. Your engineers’ quick action in coming up with a solution will help you retain customers or else people will start searching for alternatives. Your idea of bringing new look is much appreciated but definitely this is not the right one. Your loyal customer
-Re-installed the app because finally – more storage! But so so dissapointed in the new look. Couldn’t believe my eyes 💔 It was so refreshing having a layout that was different from all the others; innovative, exciting, unique amongst many.. Cant explain how basic i5 feels now using it. Design team really doesn’t do it justice.
-One of the best free editing apps in the market. However, I was left wanting for the following things: 1. Whenever I use filters like HDR Scape, I induces a lot of grains into the picture and it can be made better. 2. The pre set filters (especially BnW ones) can have more options and control over filter strength 3. There is no ‘fade’ option. So if I have to use it I need to do it separately on Instagram before posting. 4. The controls for anything can be made for precise and graduated and more parameters can be added to the ‘brush’ option These are little niggles I noticed, which if taken care of, will make this “the best editing app”.
-Over the past week, this app has not let me choose a photo to edit. It tells me that the app has stopped and then closes. I have sent back numerous feedbacks with everytime this happens. It only works a short amount of time after I uninstall and reinstall the app. I love the editing capability of the app, however, If this is not resolved soon I will be looking for a new app to use. Unfortunately my patience is wearing thin having to continue to uninstall and reinstall just to edit one photo.
-I absolutely adore this app. It takes photos to another level. The features are great and has much of what I need. I have been using it for a year and 4 months now. The portrait and head pose has a hard time with side profiles of a face, even when the face is clear. If the app had an actual paint brush with tester that would be great. As well as a color splash feature. Otherwise it’s an awesome app.
-Previously I gave 5 stars to this app. But now I take back two of them because of the new interface. I don’t undrestand why they changed the interface from something unique and beautiful to some boaring stupid interface. Beside I can not open raw images in this app as it suppose to do. Here is my previous review which still valids: This app is very powerful and yet easy to use. They’re some features that might missing, for example it would be nice to have curve tool. However, it’s already has many cool features.
-Oh dear. Where do I even start? This is my first ever review for an app. I almost feel forced into reviewing this and it’s not a great one. I used to LOVE this app. It’s now ruined with it’s new design and layout of tools. It used to look amazing and had an ease of use about it. I really don’t want to move to another app but I feel like I may just have to. 2 stars. (Would have been 5 previously).
-Hi Snapseed team! Thank you for this wonderful app. I never complained even with the new UI. It’s still the best photo editing app. Just an observation tough. The export button on the homepage of snapseed app is not present when I open the app through browsing the picture first. Meaning to say, I open a pic, then long press to open it with snapseed, then edit. There is no export button there. But if I open the snapseed app first, open a pic, the export button is present. Not only that, the option “open a pic first, then long press to open with snapseed” saves the image in a much lower quality even if I
-Yup. All the reviews are true. This is amazing. All the tools that i use on Photoshop are literally on my finger tips now. For people like us who find joy in enhancing a picture it’s the perfect mobile app. People i referred it to are still wary because of the number of settings one can play with but for those who have worked with PS will find this the ultimate answer on one’s phone. Job well done developers & Google. 👍 keep them coming. The new update UI is not pleasing to the eyes at all. It gives a vibe of Instagram, why would you change such a nice setup. Not happy at all.
-I am using this aap when they realised second update it become awesome from new update but the new update where they changed the layout which maked it worset. In new layout it doesn’t feel to edit the pic as came in its follower version it make me to shift on other aaps please reset it or give a option please request or the day ilis not so far when it become a normal aap and no one use it please reset the layout
-The mobile editing app version of Photoshop! It really is like PS but easier to use!!! Has a lot of tools to explore. And even though you used a lot of tools or made too much editing, the picture will still be in good quality or even better! Although, I’m not happy with the look of the new update. It’s kinda confusing.
-I love it! With the ability to do curves, and the ability paint masks for filters, it does everything I need from a photo editor 99% of the time. And I love the UI! The layer painting tool could be a little more accessible though, and could have a slider to choose the brush value (now it goes in increments of 25% which is too harsh in some cases.) P.s. Why no emoji support in the trxt tool?
-Best Android image editing app I’ve ever used and was previously 60% awesome, now 80% awesome (has recently been improved) BUT a major missing feature is a controllable noise reduction filter (mostly for skin smoothing, though also for other surfaces, glamour glow is lovely but not the same and doesn’t really remove noise). Also it’s missing a way to composite a watermark (e.g logo image) onto images. For these reasons it gets 4 stars instead of 5.
-Great app for enhancing pictures, really easy to use and quite powerful. It hasn’t really updated or added any features in a really long time, wonder if the app has been abandoned. But why would remove support for png for double exposure? That was the only way of adding watermarks and now you took it away…
-This is really crazy, this one kicked out all other editing apps of my phone. The powerful photo editing app with the simplest ui. Offers so many tools, filters to retouch your image. One can think as mini photoshop for quick edits. All the pro app features in a full free app. Hats off Google!! One star deducted because I miss the ability of free hand drawing and pixel resizing.
-I am really liking and enjoying Snapseed! Snapseed is my go-to app when editing pictures. But I am not sure I am enjoying this new update. Switching in between the before and after when editing the picture is a lot more slower than before, and the pull up menu makes the editing layout look more messier, in my opinion. I feel that those are the main two things that I am not enjoying with this app, but they are definitely not going to stop from using this app! Other than that, from what I notice, everything else is good and is the same old great app I like to edit photos with! I like the new option to edit raw photos in Snapseed. To me, it increases the professional-ness of
-go to app for mobile editing, especially with dng (raw) editing from my LG G5. Perfect for editing photos for social media consumption. My main request is for some form of noise and distortion editing for RAW files. Were these features to be added, it would be a viable lightroom replacement for light-to-moderate photo editing on my Chromebook. Thanks!
-I had written a very harsh review of this app because they had change the interface that I was very fond of. But since that change I’ve come to realize how indispensable this app is if you do digital art or just want to restore an old photo for a friend. Leave it to Google to create something so indispensable you may hate it one day but you’ll fall in love. Also included if you look on YouTube are many tutorials on how each of the features work to help you get a better understanding. Enjoy.
-It is the best app till date but i just requeat the developer team to add raw editing options for kitkat(android) users also.. i have an samsung galaxy s3 neo.. but unfortunately I’m having stock android which is kitkat and snapseed doesn’t support raw editing on kitkat.. hope to see raw editing option on kitkat as well
-It was so good before, quick actions you know where everything is. Dark background that actually helped you to focuses on the picture you were editing. With new layout and white interface it is so hard to edit picture when white backlight of the screen is blasting you in your eyes when trying to see small details of the picture. I had to manually downgrade to older version and not planning to upgrade it until dark interface comes back.
-I have to say – ” The best photo editor” . Lot’s of customization anyone can do. But I feel improvement in “Lens blur” & “Crop” options. In “Lens blur” i can’t select the focus in various situation ( exp- only face in oval focus but not other body parts like shoulder ,hands or any picked object) . In “Crop” section please add a round Crop option. That’s all I need right now from snapseed. Again thanks a lot for our snapseed.
-I’ve been using the app quite often for years now and have even compared it to Photoshop in a sense. But recently you’ve changed the interface and layout, and not in a good way. Also, who’s ‘bright’ idea was it to change the background color of the app to white? Sincerely, loyal app user
-(not a big fan of the new menu UI, always on the bottom and BRIGHT WHITE, which is awful for photo editing)… But… Been using this app for a while now. I think it is one of the best editing apps mostly because of the intuitive UI. The scrolling up and down, side to side is just simple and smooth. The histogram is great, a must have.
-Dear Developer , The recent update before few month makes the app not open the images, it’s just loading. I have re installed so many times , it’s just not working which formed me to go with other apps. Need you to resolve it so will be back using snapspeed. I gave it 5 star hoping for the fast resolving .thanks
-Why change the layout ???? It was easier before, and straightforward and soooo good. Now i have to read one by one here and there and it is hard to find the tools i used to use. Ok if you think by changing the so-good-interfaces into a mono dull layout is so futuristic, i guess I’ll just try to find the older version through APK.
