Signal Private Messenger
Privacy is possible, Signal makes it easy.
Using Signal, you can communicate instantly while avoiding SMS fees, create groups so that you can chat in real time with all your friends at once, and share media or attachments all with complete privacy. The server never has access to any of your communication and never stores any of your data.
★ Say Anything. Signal uses an advanced end to end encryption protocol that provides privacy for every message every time.
★ Open Source. Signal is Free and Open Source, enabling anyone to verify its security by auditing the code. Signal is the only private messenger that uses open source peer-reviewed cryptographic protocols to keep your messages safe.
★ Be Yourself – Signal uses your existing phone number and address book. There are no separate logins, usernames, passwords, or PINs to manage or lose.
★ Group Chat. Signal allows you to create encrypted groups so you can have private conversations with all your friends at once. Not only are the messages encrypted, but the Signal server never has access to any group metadata such as the membership list, group title, or group icon.
★ Fast. The Signal protocol is designed to operate in the most constrained environment possible. Using Signal, messages are instantly delivered to friends.
★ Speak Freely – Make crystal-clear phone calls to people who live across town, or across the ocean, with no long-distance charges.
Signal is not currently compatible with tablets, but support for larger screens is on our roadmap and will be included in a future release!

Love it Easy to use and secure…just love it
Open source end to end encryption After trying meny secure messagers I’ve gone with Signal. It really puts state of the art security at your level, its so well inegrated that you might not even notice its there.
Excellent, working much better now with current updates for privacy conscious users.
So far so good. Great to see that the signal crypt is so popular and very nice that it’s so easy to use.
The best By far the most secure and private communications app for Android.
Clean, simple, doesn’t get in the way. Exactly how it should be
I like the disappearing message, though security is the number one most important feature!
Open source and secure! It really is a winning combination.
Great alternative to the usual privacy invading apps but not easy to convince less privacy conscious people of the benefits. Keep up the good work
Happy user Nice ui and does exactly what it says in encrypts and password protects you SMS messages
Interface is well done and i l9ve how it seamlessly replaces the standard messaging app wonderful intergration truely and the color coding of it all is very nice aswell tho i wasnt overly fond of the default theme the dark theme however is very nice
Awsome! Signal makes texting and calling a lot more comfortable when somewhat sensitive information needs to be sent.
Could l frient with U? Gave himself to die for me because He loves me so. I love you Jesus!
What can I say about Signal? Wonderful? Amazing? Functional? All of that, this app is the best I have tried so far for simple encryption. All the features you need are there, its also open source, it’s a miracle.
Snowden Approved Great alternative for SMS, plus encrypted message storage and secure messaging.
great app! signal performs! date safe and secure.
Anyone who is concerned with security knows your the best!
This app double handedly saved my marriage. Now I can text all my side ladies without the worries of her intercepting the communication. Also it runs smoother than a greased game hen shut in with only rosters.
Speedy and secure for sure. Love the disappearing act feature.
All around great texting and pretty good phone calls. Love that you can’t take screenshots of conversations!
Exactly as described, and amazing! Sometimes a few bugs here and there, some features I’d like to see (more customization per contact, perhaps? LED light change, repeat messages but individually, etc.), or messages that won’t send, but considering how secure and all the features it does have to top it off, this is truly a great app!!
Works like a charm! We have been using this app for several years now with no trouble. Great app, highly recommended.
Love the app, everything great, but one problem, it doesn’t always notify arrival of an SMS.
Snowden recommended it… …but my best mate recommended it first. Does exactly what it says on the tin. (You have to read the packaging for further information ℹ). Go for it. #Security #Privacy
The application allows me to send messages apparently securily. The only con that I have found is that any pics that will be sent via this application need to be taken using the photography function with in Signal. This may be a security decision by the developer. Other than that, it is fine.
Aside from the usual concerns about metadata, this app seems pretty good. The only drawbacks seem to be needing to confirm keys (a habit that’s still being learned a la handwashing from before) and the lack of users. It is unfortunately a long battle for encryption and restoring public freedoms but Signal is a great point of entry for the public to care again about privacy.
Being social should be private experience as well as public, I think this app proves that. Thanks 😊😊😁
Thank you Use for private txt between me and close friends and family. Screw you NSA
I do care if the world knows what my secrets are Loving this encrypted text messaging app!
Seamless. It works. Great phone and text app. My son and I use Signal for voice calls. We live 11 time zones apart. Voice quality is crystal clear, much better than cell phone calls. We also use it to exchange texts and images. The “Big G” has nothing on these people. Of course, I’m a layperson so I can only trust that this app is adequately encrypting our messages. Assuming it does, this app is like Encryption for Dummies, and I mean that in a good way. It is so easy to install and use that even I can do it.
There is not a big better default messenger to date. Threema would be good if it was a default replacement and free but it is not so signal is the best. Funny cause CIA comms are called signal communication… LoL
Occasionally a little buggy with sending photos and getting delayed messages but when it comes to encrypted messaging has done what OTR and PGP never could – made something async and easy to use.
