User Reviews:-

-ok, so I like LDW for a very long time. The concepts are great, the graphic is definitely improved a lot. Autobreeding and healer-able-to-heal-on-their-own are two of my most fav things. However, I expected more on this new version. I managed, for the first time, to have a Perfect Villager but, I didn’t see any change, unlike the old version. The Chef can do many things. That’s for now, really hope that there would be a lot more.

-Ive been playing virtual villagers from the very begining so far this is one of my favorites. I feel like it got a bit easier to do things like crafting and keeping them alive. There are so many different things to do and that you can do. This game just keeps getting better and better

-This game is pretty good so far. Quite informative, although could have further instructions and a help bar, when you don’t know how to do something. Love the features such as the special abilities each character can have. Many challenges that make the game addictive. Wish this game could go without internet, I would play alot more if it didn’t. Thank-You♡

-I’ve been a vv fan since the very first one and I loved all of them except virtual families.. I like the island theme and mysteries.. not trying to figure out why my damn Dryer caught on fire.. but I love this one. It takes so long to get tech points though

-Pretty cool little game if you’re looking for something to play every now a again to pass a little bit of time. It takes some time to do certain tasks and craft items but as long as your patient you can get things done.

-Made myself complete the first version before downloading this one. Don’t care for this one at all, too bad. A bit glitchy, frustratingly slow in beginning. Didn’t make any progress and couldn’t figure out why. Preferred graphics on original. This one has too many extra features that seem tailored to money grabbing and advertisement.

-It’s not REALLY that fun, I have been trying to figure this out. I recommend if you like chores, but the only thing I like is watching the young villagers. I dislike the CONTROLES. Why can’t you just create your own??? I think lots of people may like it though, Give it a try, But don’t delete a good game to make room for this. Don’t judge a book by its cover.

-I’ve been playing the Last Day of Work games for years and I think virtual villagers is such a fantastic series. They did a great job making this into a mobile friendly game. I find it to be a bit laggy at points but overall it’s the same kind of virtual villagers gameplay I’ve always loved with added extras! Not a huge fan pf the lavastones thing though. Its an entertaining and relaxing game. Tldr: good game.

-No race diversity in the people you pick out for the tribe. No time travel anymore, since you need to be connected to the internet. Waiting for tasks makes it less appealing. It is upgraded from the older vv games. Puzzles are still good. Rather pay $ .99 – 1.99 and have my time travel than have in game purchaces to benefit.

-Something new and refreshing to the mind. Loved VV before and loved this version too. Keep going at it but hope that they don’t lose their sights on key gameplays and features on why their games are very entertaining. Though i recommend a bit cleaner on controls next time.

-WHAT HAPPENED TO VIRTUAL VILLAGERS 3 BTW???!!! Lol Ok VV2… It’s changed so much! Last time I played this game was a couple years ago… well maybe a few, and it was not anywhere near as Advanced as it is now. There’s so much more to it now and it’s a total blast. My only issue with the game as that it takes so long to get Tech points in the beginning and I wish that was a little easier. Well, really throughout the whole game it could be a little less time consuming!… But there’s so many more missions on this game so many more fun things to do, more herbs to make, mini (alchemy similar) creating new ingredients games. It’s so much fun, but I wish the lavastones weren’t so damned expensive too!!! Aside from that, it has truly become my new addiction lol

-My daughter and I have played the game from the beginning…it became a sort of family activity. We love the game , in fact we have palyed some of the others like fish tycoon and virtual families. Our favorite is this series. Great job!!

-The only thing worth buying is the lemur but only when it’s 50percent off, never ever at full price. Never buy the heron….ever! It’s not worth the extortionate cost even at a discount. It’s a good game otherwise but really no need to spend real money. Just be patient

-Fun, entertaining game. I like that there are mysteries to figure out. It’s unique in comparison to most games. Sometimes it’s a little difficult to select a specific character and move them to do what you want but not a huge deal.

-This may leave a sour taste in the mouths of people that played the original games. Various freemiums trappings have been added now. After the first upgrades for each tech tree the cost is ridiculously raised and what were games designed to be finished in a reasonable amount of time, it’s pretty clear what that money is now their intent. I guess I should’ve expected this from a company name “Last Day of Work”; they’re not here for your amusement.

-It’s a fun game with tons to do and new things to do constantly. The only issue I have are when the women have babies why are they not able to do anything? Why not instead have them carry the baby on their backs with a sling. This way they can contribute to the village like farming? Women are not inactive once they have children. Thanks!

-One thing that bothers me is the UI. Thr screen is cluttered with buttons. Maybe try doing a minimalist approach at the UI design. Overall, The game is great. Maybe adds some mini-games like Smurf Village to mixed things up.

-I played the PC version when I was a kid, so the game is really nostalgic and has retained a LOT of the charm of the originals. My only gripe is how expensive everything in the store is. $13+ for such small advancements seems a little bit ridiculous. On the other hand, the game CAN be played without them. I’m excited for chapter 2.

-The game is nice but we need so much tech points and lava stones to do most of the things. And they give so less opportunity to get this and even when we get they give us so few. And the timing for some crafting are soooo long. This make me start disliking it.

-Its a great game overall but i get confused easily. They dont give us any clue on how to achieve your next puzzle/milestone. I dont have a clue on finishing the puzzles, what to do and others. But its great.

-Ohhh i’ve missed VV so much. Good work on this ones devs. But I found something annoying in game. The game keeps popping Network Error like every 3-5 mins. There’s no problem with my internet since I checked its speed from time to time. So maybe find a way to fix this? I’ll surely raise my ratings up. Anw, keep it up guys!

-Trying to figure out the puzzles and getting enough tech points to level up certain areas to progress is the reason why I am unistalling this game. It’s way to difficult to figure out. I’ve had to Google the puzzles and it’s still hard! You had me at first but not anymore.

-I’ve loved all of the VV games..this one is almost impossible if you dont look up crafting combos or puzzle hints.. a lot of hurry up and wait and after a while, you just wait on items for the crafting hut..nothing else to play. Kind of a bummer.

-The Craft shop is difficult to make anything. Craft shop consumes a lot of time. Other than that I think it’s a great game. It helps me to relax and use up a lot of time. It’s funny to watch all the little characters run away; when you put a few of them at team work on a task. I enjoy this game.

-I love Virtual Villagers. From the very first one I have been hooked. I’m so excited to play this new game. I have missed these little guys. Thanks for always making such a great new island, but never losing the delightful integrity of the game and Villagers.

-I have always enjoyed playing all the VV games and have even played most of them 2-3 times each. When I saw this I just had to play it. Tech points take WAY to long to earn! I work all day long and while I’m gone I set all my villagers to research so I’m expecting tech points to build quickly because that is what I could do with ALL the other VV games,(they don’t), I used the gift card that I got for my birthday to maybe buy some tech points to speed things up, but…I couldn’t just buy tech points without first buying lavastones? I bought the lavastones then needed to use the lavastones to buy tech points! My lavastones were taken for the tech points but tech points were not added. I’m right back where I started with NO lavastones and NO extra tech points and…my gift card is gone to bootI! why? VERY FRUSTRATING !!

-whats wrong with the game servers? i have been trying to connect for hours now. my internet connection is very stable yet i cant connect to game.. pls do something….

-It is not all that good because u can’t do certain things. Every time someone dies it should let us get to pick if we want to have more villagers.

-Love virtual villagers, but as usual there’s not much to do but wait. Not exactly the kind of game where you can play for hours, but it’s disappointing because you want to. Overall it’s fun

-I have always loved Virtual Villages. Its has kept a similar game play and goals and have even added the new feature to craft resources from items found on the island. I must say, the puzzles are easier which I like because its fun working them out and can’t wait for a chapter 2 of puzzles.

-Needs better direction for puzzles, and takes too long for tech points but overall a good game. Gets boring the more you get in to it. Not much to do but wait.

-Love the vv series and this is definitely in the same vain. It is playable without the micro transactions but u can tell they have tried to slow things down to make you buy them. No where near EA lvl but they would still be impressed that these guys are willing to cash in on our nostalgia from our childhood

-I enjoy this game but I HATE the tutorial. You can’t stop it once it starts. And it forces you to add a gem to a villager which will mess up the roster you had because it changes what the character is adapt at. I purposely picked a researcher. Used her for the tutorial and now she’s a farmer. Only I don’t need another farmer. And I was forced to do this. I lost my researcher because I had no choice otherwise I couldn’t do anything. Fix the bad tutorial please and I’ll give you 5 stars.

-I played this game from the very beginning on the pc i love alot of the new features on this game. I just wish there was a way to get tech points and lava stones other then just through purchases. You need these to keep villagers alive but by the time you have enough they are old and dying, so all the skills they have accumulated is gone and you have to start over with new village members.Over all i really enjoy the game.

-Amazing! I’m playing virtual families 2 too, your games are awesome!😉 I love the fact that you can change the names. I hate it when it gets a little glitchy, it’s really annoying.😣 Otherwise, great game, I’d highly reccomend this!😚

-Very similar to the previous games, though the tech points takes a really long time and the points only get higher Also since my phone updated, the game has a graphics problem where the lights seem to flash all over the village like a rave party. Don’t know if that’s been happening for anyone else

-I love these games and have played them for ages, only one issue with this is that it takes forever to upgrade the technologies with tech points because they are always way too expensive and tech points take ages to get. Apart from that I love the game and can’t wait for chapter 2 to be released

-So far it is like any other village slow going. Not to exciting just dragging villagers around trying to get them trained.

-I played the very first few virtual villagers and I love the game. I wish the characters would move more when doing a task. I have to click on the villager to find out if they’re doing the task or thinking of something else. I’ve completed chapter 1 and wonder when chapter 2 is coming out?

-I have played Virtual Villagers for years I have always loved the games nothing else in the app store comes close, super excited to play the new Virtual Villagers 2 can’t wait to see where the story goes!

-I really like the virtual villager games. I played all of them on my computer a couple years back and i am excited to try this one. I have only had it downloaded for a day so far. I am very excited to see that there are many puzzles and it looks like there is going to be a large amount of crafting, potion making, cooking recipe types things. So far some of the things that are not the best are: it can be tricky to pick up the character and move them occasionally, others have mentioned the tech point accumulation rate which I personally feel is noticably slower than previous games which makes the begining a little slow and boring, and in the begining there are a few smaller objects that villagers notice (including plants) but none of the villagers (not even children) can pick them up. You get the message of “The villager is unsure where to store this.” WHich is a bit of a pain but I will see what happens as I continue to play, I refuse to give up on this game.

-It is a nice game yet little graphics problem well all the games of last day of work are very interesting I request you to please make virtual families 3 because virtual families 2 is my favorite game in the world please please please make it please 😭😭😭

-I’ve been playing this when it still wasn’t available in Play Store and at the end of the day I am always looking forward to play this and see how my village has improved. What I also like about this game is you can take all the time you want and you don’t have to hurry up to complete a task.

-I’ve played many previous virtual villagers I enjoyed this one as well with a few differences…I play this one on a tablet and don’t care for the zoom feature frequently shooting me up to view the volcano when I’m trying to snag a kid villager to grab mushroom, etc. Also where is the pause village life so I can take a few days to concentrate on real life and not have to worry all my effort gaining villager skills doesn’t have to be repeated because everyone got sick and died. Aside from that it is a great game can’t wait for chapter two!
